Prayer Power

I believe in the power of prayer.
I believe that God hears me, that He answers.
I believe because I have experienced grace, I have experienced answered prayer.
I believe because I can literally see God working in my life every single day.

When we pray according to the will of God, miracles happen.

So I was reading in Colossians Ch 1 today, and felt so inspired to share this prayer that Paul sent to the church in Colosse.

“For this reason we have always prayed for you, ever since we heard about you. We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, with all the wisdom and understanding that his Spirit gives. Then you will be able to live as the Lord wants and will always do what pleases him. Your lives will produce all kinds of good deeds, and you will grow in your knowledge of God. May you be made strong with all the strength which comes from his glorious power, so that you may be able to endure everything with patience. And with joy give thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to have your share of what God has reserved for his people in the kingdom of light. He rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us safe into the kingdom of his dear Son, by whom we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven.”

I challenge you to pray this prayer today.
Pray this prayer every day.
Pray it earnestly.
Pray it for yourself, your friends and your family.
Pray it for your neighbors, your church, your school, your work.
Pray it for the people closest to you, and the people farthest from you.
Pray it for the Children of God.

Pray for God to fill us with the knowledge of His will, with all the wisdom and understanding that the Holy Spirit gives.

When we pray for spiritual gifts,
When we unite together to plead for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit,
Miracles happen.
Ive seen them, Ive experienced them.

Just like Pentecost in Acts Ch 2, the Holy Spirit will be poured out again.
Earnestly seek the will of God.
Pray with me today.
