Craving something sweet but want to avoid sugary snacks? This is the perfect cookie for you. The only sugar here comes naturally from the bananas and a little from the chocolate chips (which could be left out if you like). Also, if you want to make this recipe gluten free, simply use gluten free oats or museli. Are you ready to make the most fool proof, nutritious cookies in your life? Here’s the recipe:
2 ripe Bananas (mashed)
1 1/2 cup Oats or Museli (pulse the oats a little if you’re using plain oats)
1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
Dash of Cinnamon
3 Cardamom Pods (ground to a powder)
1/4 of a Vanilla Pod (ground to a powder)
2 Tsbp Flax Seeds (ground to a powder)
1 cup Walnuts (soaked for at least 30 min)
1 Tbsp Plant Butter or Oil
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
Combine all ingredients in 1 bowl. The consistency should be sticky but not too wet. Use a tablespoon to portion out the mix onto a parchment paper lined bin.
Bake at 180 degrees in the airfryer for 10 minutes.
