Do you love the whole entire world?
The earth, the sky, all natural things, plants and beings and animals.
Each one beautiful, in its natural state.
Each one different in character and talent.
The squirrel to gather, the dolphin to jump, the child to build, and the man to create tangible things. The tree to provide oxygen and the mountain to shelter, the rain to fuel new harvest and the sun to grow strong food. The woman to birth a child and that child to break her heart.
Not all we see is good. Not all we see is best.
But imagine a world filled with love – deep, mutual love for one another.
That is the world that can exist for you.
If you choose it.
Manifesting the Kingdom starts within the heart. Coming to the place where one can be reborn. Starting new. Knowing nothing. Wiping the slate clean.
So often we invite Christ to come and live with us, but we neglect clearing the air of the past. We allow who we “were” to shape us.
Why?
Because its our story. Its “who we are”.
But if that isn’t who we want to be, then we must let it go and redefine the future.
There is not more room for statements like: “thats just how its always going to be”, or “its inevitable”.
Because of God’s divine grace, we have DIVINE POWER to overcome what is gone and embrace who God is in this moment. His character should be our focus. Looking at God every day. Meditating on what you
- see- nature, text (book, pamphlet,)
- hear – story, interpretation, (audiobook, radio podcast, sermon, listening in spiritual conversation)
- touch – food (God’s life source to mankind)
- feel – allowing God to form deep compassion inside your heart
- share – what you experience with others (interactions, conversations, body language)
The power to shape our lives according to perfection is greater than any we could ever imagine. WE ARE FINITE.
But when we step into the Kingdom, we put on your eternal lenses. We begin to see the workings of God, the movings of the Spirit. We recognize the infinite length of eternity and how small we are compared to the millions of years we’ll keep on living.
Becoming humble is not easy. But looking at all eternity, and recognizing that I’ve only lived twenty six of those measly years makes me begin to see how powerless I am to do it myself. I have a lot to learn. I have a lot to grow.
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chron 7:14
“The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD…” Isaiah 29:19
“For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15
“LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart;
You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
That the man of the earth may oppress no more.” Psalm 10:17-18
“Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way.
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth,
To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
For Your name’s sake, O Lord,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.” Psalm 25:6-11
Being humble to me is…
not expecting anything in return.
recognizing that I am low.
Allowing myself to be reborn – to go back to what it was like to not know anything. To start from nothing and allow my Creator to shape me, consciously, willingly, joyfully, into the perfect human he dreamed me to be.
Humility is extending grace to all, even those who hurt you.
Humility is service, always looking for an opportunity to ease a burden.
Humility is love. Pure, genuine love pervading your soul and trickling out all around, rebuilding the atmosphere, healing broken hearts, comforting the sick, learning, teaching, harmonizing, uniting.
Do you care for mankind?
Wanting only his good, prosperity and health?
Do you want to see people everywhere become their best?
Ask for, and accept the joyful humility of the Kingdom of Heaven today.
“Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.
Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them sing aloud on their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute on them the written judgment—
This honor have all His saints.
Praise the Lord!” Psalm 149
“Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.” Romans 12:16
God manifests the Kingdom for us. It is not our right to be able to experience or perform miracles, but the One who created life itself. Without Christ, we have no power. In humility we must come to the throne and recognize our lowly estate. Only when we become low can God draw close to lift us up to the highest of heaven. When we SEE God, our entire beings begin to recognize that He is supreme love.
