Your relationship with God is just that, YOUR relationship. Specific to you. Something unique.
How do you connect with God?
Through music or reading Scripture? Through sitting in the silence or in the nature? Maybe your worship is active, maybe it is more still. Perhaps it manifests meditation or productivity.
“Surely, no matter what you are doing (speaking, writing, or working), do it all in the name of Jesus our Master, sending thanks through Him to God our Father.”
Colossians 3:17
“Whatever you do—whether you eat or drink or not—do it all to the glory of God!”
1 Corinthians 10:31
Our worship, our relationship is special because of our intention. When we intend to do whatever it is we are doing for God, we are connecting with Him, serving His purpose, bringing glory to Him alone.
Real worship starts in the heart. It requires no action, no distraction, and no improvement. It is special to God because we direct our adoration, our praise – towards Him.
