Life Loving Jesus

Hi friends, I know many of my posts here are encouraging and uplifting, and my motive for posting this message is the same. However, I do want you to be aware that there are some graphic events that I have highlighted here that may be discouraging or perceived as negative.

First and foremost, I want you to know that my God is a God of love. He loves us so much that He gave us a way to be free from this world of sin, that way is through believing in Jesus. Jesus is the way to truth, life and happiness. And while God loves us so infinitely that He sent His only Son, He is a God who is serious about the consequences of sin. He is a God who keeps promises, and that doesn’t exclude the ones about one day destroying sin forever.

With that being said, God is sending us a warning. Signs of things to come.

Very soon, the end of time will be upon us. God will send angels to pour out His wrath on the earth. Here are some glimpses of the things to come…

“The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.

The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments, O Holy One,
you who are and who were;
for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,
and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”
And I heard the altar respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty,
true and just are your judgments.”
The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

“Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

Friends, NOW is the time to get ready. Now is the time to put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

NOW is the time to search for the TRUTH.

NOW is the time to decide what you believe and ACT on that belief.

Jesus is coming SOON, and when He comes He will take us home to a place where suffering and pain is a thing of the gone past. He wants YOU to be part of that bliss. He wants YOU to be a part of His kingdom. And more than anything He wants to show you how much He loves you today.

Warning signs should help us want to think critically about why that sign was posted. We have to do our own studying, our own digging to find out right? Don’t ever rely on what another human says as your only source of knowledge. Don’t ever take what I say over the things that God says. I’m flawed too, thats why I need Him too.

God gives us warnings to help us be ready. To show us that He’s serious about all those promises He made. To give us a little more time to find out what it really means to have a relationship with Him.

Friends, He wont wait forever. My God is a God of order, timing and truth. He is waiting for you and me to make a stand. To decide once and for all whether we choose Him or not.

Here in this moment, I choose Jesus. With nothing to lose and everything to gain. Wont you join me today?
